The Window on the Universe CDROM (available from BNSC) contains a secret page that details many secret functions and links throughout the CDROM - such as how to get extra features in the games and where to find extra videos and screensavers.
Print this page now so that you will be able to find the SECRET page later...
To find the SECRET page on your WOU CDROM, you should go to the
- Contents section of the CD
- Select the Multimedia Index
- Click on the Multimedia Guided Tour option (on the bottom right of that page)
- Scroll down the Guided Tour list until you reach the Flash™ Time Line and Distance Line sub-menu and load either of these features (it doesn't matter if you don't have a Flash™-enabled browser)
- Ignore the Flash™ menu that should load at the top of the screen
- In the centre of the blank area underneath, right-click (for Mac® users, Control+click) and select 'View Source' from the pop-up menu
- If you scroll down this page, you will see some text with instructions about the secret functions on the WOU CDROMs...
- Now...ENJOY!
