Ten things to do with your WOUK2000 CDROM:

9: Who's Who
Explanation
We've compiled a CDROM of images and data from the leading players in the UK. However, even with MrSID™'s compression, we couldn't get everything in. If you have a special requirement for images that are not included in the CDROM or you are wondering about a specific application, why not use the contacts database to approach some organisations that may be able to help. Even if you come back to the CD some time after its release, these organisations will no doubt be able to respond to your enquiries.

Alternatively, you may be interested in a career in this area. The contacts database can help target your applications. Furthermore, membership of the Remote Sensing Society (RSS) is very reasonable and has many advantages for the interested individual or organisation.

For people interested in learning more about Earth observation, the following web sites are recommended: www.isset.org (for 11-16 year olds / beginners) and National Learning Network for Remote Sensing (for over 16 year olds / advanced).
